With God-Psalm 23-Robbie Johnson

December 3, 2023 Preacher: Robbie Johnson Series: Guest Speaker

Topic: Psalm 23 Scripture: Psalm 23

God reveals His character as the good shepherd, the lavish host and the highway patrolman that pursues us in Psalm 23

Psalm 23 (NIV 1984)

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

John 13:6-8

6He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

7Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

8“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.”

Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”
