One of our favorite biblical pictures of the church is found in Eph. 2:21, where Paul writes the following:
…in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
The New Testament understanding of the church is better realized as the people of God than it is a building, made of wood, or brick and mortar. The Lord has formed a people for Himself, and we are being built together, growing in the Lord!
Being connected to believers is a high priority for our church, and we love the amazing relationships that we enjoy as being part of a local church. It is way more than being IN a church building…it is BEING the church, wherever we are, whatever day of the week. As believers are connected first to the Lord, and then to each other, something very special happens. We want to be part of His church!
Just as we need the Lord and the understanding of His word, we also need each other! Abundant Grace provides many different opportunities for growth in the knowledge of the Word, and also our connectedness with each other.
