Acts 28
Introduction
Love Jesus, Live the Gospel, Walk in Joy and Freedom
Just as the book of Acts begins with Jesus teaching on the kingdom of God (1:3), Acts ends with this statement: “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!” (28:31).
I. Love Jesus
“No longer do I call you servants...but I have called you friends.” John 15:15
“There is a God of infinite greatness, and He has invited you to know Him deeply and closely and richly. The invitation is to sit with Him. To experience Him for yourself. To be in His presence. When you realize the magnitude of this possibility, you see there is nothing in your life more valuable or rewarding than your full-on pursuit of knowing Him.” Louie Giglio
Is Jesus, your Savior your dearest and truest friend?
II. Live the Gospel
“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ…” Philippians 1:27
1) We live the gospel by connecting with others.
2) Live the gospel by sharing the gospel.
3) Live the gospel by being an ambassador for Jesus.
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.”
2 Corinthians 5:20
III. Walk in Freedom and Joy
“For freedom Christ has set us free, stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
The book of Acts ends with Paul proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ
